You do not have to be a member of the Settlers Landing Pool to join the Settlers Landing Sharks Swim Team. Please use the Active swim link to register.

Swim team members are expected to be SLRA pool members. There is an additional $80 non-member fee per swimmer for swim team members who are not SLRA pool members. This fee may be paid via Venmo or check by June 1st.
A swimsuit, goggles, and a towel are needed for practice. Swimmers are welcome to wear a swim cap at practice if they prefer. In addition, your child must bring a positive attitude and good listening skills to practice. The pool can be dangerous, and swimmers must listen to their coaches to avoid accidents. The practice is a fun time- encourage your swimmer to meet his/her fellow teammates and enjoy the time he/she spends practicing!

Every swimmer must be able to swim 3/4 of the 25-meter pool unassisted (with the exception of 6 and younger). If you are unsure of your child’s ability or interest, your child is welcome to try out the team for the first week of practice on a trial basis for free. Please come to the pool during practice hours.
The primary method of communication is e-mail and text alerts. You can also find up-to-date info on the Settlers Landing Sharks Swim Team Facebook page. We will use the bulletin board near the concession stand at the pool to post sign-ups and other information.
